4th Grader Teaches School Board The Hypocrisy of Mask Wearing For Children
A ten year old came to school board and lectured the adults on their hypocrisy when dealing with the children.
John, whose last name is withheld for his own security, went to a school board in Martin County, Florida, asked the school why he and his fellow students were being forced to wear masks, even when outdoors, during track, and during lunch, they were not allowed to face one other.
Further, he found it confusing while no recess was allowed, and why on earth were teachers running around with notebooks taking names of students who did not have their masks on properly.
He said some teachers sat outside and lectured and yelled at the children over masks, but they weren’t wearing them themselves.
Further, when he was out waiting to be picked up and was thirsty, he was told he could not take off his mask to have a drink, while the teacher telling him she wasn’t wearing a mask herself. He said he went to his mother, asked what you call someone that does this? His mother said there is a good word for this, HYPOCRISY.
It is sad when we have to hear common sense from the mouth of babes because we adults aren’t willing to deal with this ourselves. In many ways, this reminds me of the story of the Emperor who had no clothes; it took a child to explain reality to the adults.
