AOC Continues Attack On Kellyanne Conway

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Kellyanne Conway have continued their feud that has been going on for a while as AOC called out the Senior White House adviser for failing to attend a committee hearing about her alleged ethics violations.

The fight escalated after Kellyanne claimed during a Fox News interview that OAC was lying about what she saw in an immigration detention center near the US/Mexican border.

AOC has stated that a woman had been forced to drink out of a toilet in one of the centers after the attached sink was not functioning correctly, a claim that was disputed by many, including the people working in the facility.

“How many migrant women have Kellyanne Conway touched? Hugged? Sat on a concrete floor with?” she asked in a tweet linking to KellyAnns TV comments. “The answer is none. Her actions show she doesn’t believe all human beings are worthy of basic dignity.”

Kellyanne shot back in a tweet attacking AOC over her refusal to support a bill that provided additional funding to immigrant detention facilities, saying, “All talk, no dollars.”

She went on to point out that AOC had voted against the bipartisan humanitarian aid, and “even voted against the Democrat aid package.
AOC tried to defend her vote in a tweet that read: “I don’t believe in billion dollar blank checks for unethical, abusive administrations. Including yours.”

She took her criticism of the senior adviser a step further, adding in a follow-up tweet: “Also @KellyannePolls, maybe you actually do your job and show up to a Congressional hearing next time you want to talk to me.
“After all you, you ran away and skipped out on Oversight committee last week, just to call into Fox and Friends instead.”

Kellyanne was scheduled to attend a House oversight committee last week after a federal agency recommended she be fired from her post for repeatedly violating the Hatch Act, a law barring federal employees from using their roles for political activities. What was not stated was that the Administrative branch has control over this, not the legislative.
AOC was referring to the fact that Kellyann had joined a Fox News’ morning show, Fox & Friends instead of attending the hearing, this caused the Democrats to vote to issue a subpoena with a vote of 25 to 16 with most Republicans objecting and voting no.

AOC also joked about Kellyann showing up on daytime TV rather than attending the hearing in an interview with The Late Show’s Stephen Colbert, saying: “It’s like when you call in sick to work, and someone finds you at, like, the grocery store or something.”
