Biden Left Out Afghanistan, Lauren Boebert Made Sure He And The World Remembered.

Because it is my job, I had to sit through the State of the Union speech and listen to what was a terrible narration, halted speech, focus on the violation of Ukraine borders by Russia, yet not one word about the violation of our own. But this was not where the problem was; it was what was not said, the open and outrageous lies, and finally listening to a member make known that she would not forget our loss from Afghanistan that made it less painful to watch.

Joe Biden was so desperate for a 9/11 anniversary photo op that he set an arbitrary date for withdrawing from Afghanistan, without any conditions for the Taliban, causing a disastrous evacuation that resulted in thousands of Americans left behind and 13 U.S. service members dead.

Yet, not a single word about the withdrawal. Not a single word to honor those who died because of his incompetence.

“Biden should have paid tribute to the 13 fallen HEROES in Afghanistan that lost their lives,” former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted.

Afghanistan was mentioned only twice during his speech, each time providing him with the opportunity to discuss the withdrawal and honor those who paid the ultimate price while trying to evacuate civilians at Kabul’s airport.

But he didn’t.

He did, however, mention his late son, Beau Biden… because that’s what he does. He did so more than once after his botched withdrawal last year. The family of fallen Marine Rylee McCollum, who was killed at Kabul airport, said that when they met with Biden, “he kept checking his watch and bringing up Beau.”

This was more than one member could stand; while he glossed over his record ignored the loss of life due to his incompetence, Laurin Boebert made sure that if he did not give them the respect they were due, she was going to call his attention to this:

The reaction to this was rather predictable; the outright shown by the Left went from criticism to outright lies to attack her for daring to interrupt him.

People put out the headline ‘Lauren Boebert Interjects During Biden’s State of the Union as He Talks About Veterans and His Late Son.’ Yet, the headline was misleading; Biden did not talk about his son or the dead until after she shouted, only to change the subject quickly. While we respect the sacrifice Biden’s son made for this nation, we can not endorse his use of his son’s memory to try to deflect for righteous condemnation.

Holly Baxter went; further she tried to deflect from what boebert was calling instead of attacking her grandfather for his statements. Then ranted about how rude and unprecedented it was for someone to interrupt a State of the Union’s speech; this was after she went on an attack against all Trump supporters in her article. It seems that she either has a short memory or purposefully forgot how Pelosi, throwing a child-like temper tantrum, ripped up Trump’s speech, or how in Trump’s last State of the Union, 3 Democrats stormed out in the middle of his speech, and 10 boycotted it all together.

After this, it changed the momentum of the speech Biden brought up his son. While we honor the lives of all who lost their lives while serving this nation, we will not forget the 13 who did so in Afghanistan, even if the Democrats and left want us to. Here are the names of these fallen heroes:

  • Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Darin T. Hoover, 31, of Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Marine Corps Sgt. Johanny Rosariopichardo, 25, of Lawrence, Massachusetts
  • Marine Corps Sgt. Nicole L. Gee, 23, of Sacramento, California
  • Marine Corps Cpl. Hunter Lopez, 22, of Indio, California
  • Marine Corps Cpl. Daegan W. Page, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska
  • Marine Corps Cpl. Humberto A. Sanchez, 22, of Logansport, Indiana
  • Marine Corps Lance Cpl. David L. Espinoza, 20, of Rio Bravo, Texas
  • Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jared M. Schmitz, 20, of St. Charles, Missouri
  • Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum, 20, of Jackson, Wyoming
  • Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Dylan R. Merola, 20, of Rancho Cucamonga, California
  • Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kareem M. Nikoui, 20, of Norco, California
  • Navy Hospitalman Maxton W. Soviak, 22, of Berlin Heights, Ohio
  • Army Staff Sgt. Ryan C. Knauss, 23, of Corryton, Tennessee.

The failure to mention these men is inexcusable. To deflect from this by mentioning his son, that is politics, but does not make it right? He dishonors the memory of his son by using him to deflect from honoring others.

We hoped for a powerful speech, but realistically we knew we would see more of the bumbling along that we have learned to expect from Biden. He always lies, but refusing to address the fallen heroes shows how little he cares about them.

Democrats view soldiers as minions that do their bidding; they give lip service to sacrifice but could care less. There are exceptions to this, such as Tulsi Gabbard, sadly the majority haven’t served and openly show their disdain for the military unless it is doing their bidding.

If our president does not honor these men, we will.

And remember, just because the Democrats say, “What is good for me is not good for thee!” That does not work here; they can’t have the right to heckle to their heart’s content, then say the other side has no such right. As my father used to say, “What is good for the goose is good for the gander!”
