Caravan Of Illegals Headed To US

As many of you have seen, there are over 1,000 people in an illegal migrant caravan headed up through Mexico headed to the US. They claim that they have a right to come to our nation, Mexico has their officials aiding in this effort, the question has to be asked, “What do we do?” We must answer this question and seek the reason why they think we are responsible for the actions of illegals.

Make no mistake, this is a challenge by forces, some of them sadly in the US, others from outside the US to the sovereignty of our great nation, this is not something that should be taken lightly, it should be seen as what it is, a attempted invasion of our nation, a challenge to the authority of the Trump administration and the our sovereignty.

We have heard activist complain that somehow because we are white because the US dared to purchase raw material from these nations we are obligated to take these people in, to that, I say rubbish, there is no need to do anything of the sort. I was taught that two wrongs never make a right, so because many on the left say during the time of Reagan or earlier we interfered with their sovereignty we somehow have to let them do the same with us?

We paid for the goods, this is what nations do, to pay for something is not evil, wealth was transferred, the fact that their officials are corrupt, will not distribute this wealth to their people is not our problem. In regards to interfering, I am always surprised that nations come to the US asking us to free them from tyrants, then when we have they say we aren’t wanted anymore, they used us for what they wanted. When we leave they put another tyrant in power, then complain that we caused all this. I am beginning to understand the beauty of isolationism.

I am tired of everyone demanding we fix their problems, then in the next breath complaining that we somehow are interfering with their domestic issues. They demand we give aid, then tell us to shut up, how dare we say how this aid is used. A perfect example of this is the Palestinian Authority; they demand we give this aid, say we are obligated, then yell that we are interfering with their domestic agenda when we find that this money is being used to pay terrorist for killing Jews. When you receive money at no cost, there are ALWAYS strings attached, that is the way of life.

But back to the caravan, this needs to be dealt with, the fact that Mexico is aiding this by sending their officials to aid in how to beat the system and publishing material showing how to do this, to get around the border guards is disgusting, we need to do something about this, and I have a perfect idea, put tariffs on all money being wired to Mexico. This adds up to between $30 and $40 billion a year of money tracked by the Bank of Mexico, but many send cash, others send money orders, the actual figure could be as high as a $100 billion a year, this makes up for 8 – 9% of their total economy, as such they have a vested interest in keeping this money flowing, If we put a tarrif of say 20% on all cash transfers, money orders, we will not be able to collect all money, but being they are not US citizens, we do have a right to check mail to make sure they aren’t sneeking money out of the nation.

Now before some start yelling and say that 107 H.R. 3009, is put in place to stop this, that is not correct, this was put in place to block customs from opening private mail from overseas to private US citizens, it says nothing about mail being shipped from the US to outside destinations.

If we do something like this, Mexico will howl, but they need to understand, as much as they love to scream about the US interfering with their domestic policies, they have in place laws that no migrant who is not a Mexican citizen may in any way participate in their politics, they sure seem to think they have a right to dictate that their citizens who are illegally in another nation be afforded the rights they will not grant to others. It is time to stop this.

We need to let Mexico know that effective immediately we will start by putting a tariff on all funds being shipped to their nation, also inform them if they don’t take care of their side of things, we can include this to blocking all funds from being transferred to their nation, then start mass deportations of illegals in this nation. They need to understand, they have no right to dictate or challenge our sovereignty, to most other nations this would be viewed as a declaration of war.

This mess was made possible first by terrible policy of President Bush, then followed by President Obama who made these nations think we are somehow obligated to take in people they wish to send here, that is not the case, if anything this makes the need for the wall that Trump wishes for all that more important, but it also brings to question, if this gets worse, do we need to look at the possible need of militarizing the border?
