Democrat Presidential Hopeful Caught Spewing Fake News

It is bad enough when the press is pushing fake news, but now Democratic Presidental hopefuls are as well.

Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson got slammed on social media after she fell for a fake news story Sunday night that claimed President Trump pardoned Charles Manson, the murderous cult leader who died in 2017.

“There is something deeply sinister about Trump pardoning Charles Manson, even posthumously,” she wrote to her 2.8 million Twitter followers. “Dog whistles of the very worst possible kind…”

There is a rumor going around that Trump had pardoned Manson after his death, this was picked up by presidential hopeful Williamson who tweeted:

If nothing else, this should push forward how delusional the left is, instead of checking to see if the claim was truthful, they run off half-cocked to attack Trump, believing the internet, like it never lies.

In all fairness, Williams did retract her tweet, but it should not have been posted to start with, but dirt is more critical today than facts.

One has to wonder, what’s next? Trump accused of giving pardon to Hitler, Satan? (Can hear the headlines now “Trump Thinks He Is Greater Than God!”). I am sure something juicy will come soon from the delusional left. Sometimes you get more entertainment value from the left then you do from the National Inquirer.

While there is a wealth of fake news out there, I have found over the years that it is important to double-check the validity of what you are being shown, many times what I see as an interesting story soon turns out to be more about sensational lies than the truth, something that should not be repeated.

With the press now pushing a one-sided narrative, we are told that we should not seek the truth, they are the ones that should be the gateway controllers to what we are listening to, I find alternative sources, confirmation more and more important in finding out what is really going on.
