Gina Carano fired from ‘The Mandalorian’ after controversial posts

In what is becoming all to familiar, another conservative is kicked out of a job for daring to post their opinion.

Actress Gina Carano has been booted off “The Mandalorian” after she penned a social media post that compared being a Republican to a Jewish person during Nazi Germany in the 1930s.

The former MMA fighter played Cara Dune in the hit Disney+ show.

“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm, and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a Lucasfilm spokesperson said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday.

“Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable,” the statement continued.

After the controversial Instagram post about Republicans and Jews, Carano was facing backlash, prompting the hashtag #FireGinaCarano to trend on social media.

Here is the post, I had to repost with the words since the post has been taken down by Twitter:

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”

I have no issue with the post; she was not comparing the GOP to the Jews. Instead, she compared the mindset before the holocaust in Germany and what is seen in the liberals today.

I have asked for a while now, “This ‘White Privilege’ and now these rabid attacks against conservatives, where does one think this is going to end?”

We can look to Germany and see the worst outcome; we can also look to Russia and China and see what they did with people who did not have the proper thought process. This did not go down a good road.

To claim there is no concern is nonsense, we have people on the left calling for re-education camps, removing conservatives from office, and how much harder it is to go from rhetoric to action?

This does not mean we compare what is happening today to the GOP and others to what happened to my fellow Jews in the 30s and 40s. Instead, a mindset, one pushed by the left and media, drives a narrative that holds danger if it continues to ratchet up.

This was not the only Tweet she had been attacked over; she was under increasing attacks for daring to call into question the election results in 2020. Further, she dared to make fun of the moves to wear masks, to make them mandatory.

In Twitter posts published in November, the actress mocked mask-wearing amid the coronavirus pandemic and claimed voter fraud took place during the 2020 presidential election.

A source told the Hollywood Reporter Lucasfilm wanted to fire Carano for some time.

“They have been looking for a reason to fire her for two months, and today was the final straw,” the source said.

She is guilty of speaking what she sees and doing so while employed by a radical leftist company; one has to wonder why it took so long.
