Hey Washington, Why Hasn’t Antifa Been Classified A Domestic Terrorist Group Yet?
We saw during the Obama years either a rise of radical groups, like Black Lives Matter, or the morphing of an already radical group into something much more dangerous, as with Antifa, but what is Antifa? What does it stand for?
Antifa simply means anti-fascist, started in both Italy and the US in response to the rise of fascism in Italy, but since that time has morphed into something far different then what it started as. Today Antifa is a group that aims to use a confrontation with other groups it disagrees with, has turned far more violent since Trump has taken power.
The problem as of late is the way Antifa labels anyone, and everyone that does not take their far-left positions, and thus with their labeling justify their violence. Most people I know are not fans of fascist, so when Antifa labels someone as such, then attacks them, the mainstream media and much of the world shrugs their shoulders and says, “They just punched a Nazi, who cares!” But is this the case?
Antifa was already politically far left when Obama was in power, moved with such groups as Black Lives Matter, still works in many cases with them, started to turn against anyone who dared to not buy into the leftist idea of a new world order, they began to label all conservatives as fascist, thus justified their attacks against people who had different political ideology then they do, but were not in any way in line with a fascist type of thinking.
Before we go much further, maybe it would be best to define what fascism is. Fascism is a government that is with a firm national identity, pushing for pride in its nation-state, believes in socialized medicine, control of all manufacturing through the state, but unlike pure socialist are not arguing for the seizure of private property by the state, rather control of how it is used by the state.
Wikipedia defines socialism
A form of radical right-wing, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I, before it spread to other European countries. Opposed to liberalism, Marxism and anarchism, fascism is placed on the far-right within the traditional left-right spectrum. But is this definition correct?
In How The Left Rewrote The History Of Fascism I go into detail how Roosevelt and other leftist leaders praised socialism, sent their own people to study it, found much of what they believed incompatible with liberal ideology, would say the same today of far-left liberalism and fascism even now.
The left is not as fiercely pro-nationalist, they are more with a world view, but it is every bit as radical as the fascist had with their nationalist view, as the fascist of old, any opposing view is attacked with the same religious like zeal as we saw with the brown shirts and later the Gestapo of old.
So, the question must be raised, how can this group claiming to be fighting fascism be so much like the fascist? Like the fascist they have their militarized group, Antifa members that march and assault anyone who dares to have a differing opinion, they react with the same religious like zeal in their attacks that we saw with the fascist brown shirts of old.
The claim that fascism was opposed to liberalism is pure nonsense, a lie perpetrated for years. Fascism preached in Germany destruction of Judeo-Christian morals; the left has been doing that for years now. They tried to tear apart the traditional family unit, instead decided to make the youth of Germany, and Italy dependent on the all-controlling state, this is precisely what the left is trying to do in our schools and colleges today.
Fascism tried to rewrite their own science, then tried to do away with religion, made their science like dogma and make it part of the accepted belief system within the fascist society. Liberalism has done the same, made scientific thought the same as any religious dogma, if you don’t believe this, question evolution or global warming, see how they attack you.
The facts are they attack with no less religious zeal than the most fanatical faiths, and with an urgency, we saw with the fascist of old. You have people like AOC and others claiming in 12 years our world will end if we don’t do something about global warming, then set about to tear apart all we know to achieve their utopian goals, just like the fascist of old.
But it even goes deeper; you have people that have called for the elderly to die off, so they can achieve their goals, the same thing the Germans did. Others, like a congresswoman this last week, called for an attack against the leftist in Congress to be a criminal offense, if you do so, you should be put in jail, the fascist did this with anyone who dared question their policy or leaders.
What we see is a merging of groups like Antifa with the far left, their goals are intertwined, it could be why news sites for the far left either say nothing contrary about them, many times openly support them, and actively attack anyone who dares to call them out for their violence.
While I oppose groups like the KKK, find the neo-Nazi’s offensive, I must ask, why are they classified as domestic terrorist groups and not Antifa? The facts are today we rarely see the KKK or one of these radical racist groups on the streets attacking others, but we see this almost weekly with Antifa, it is time to call them out and label them as they truly are, terrorist.
