Horrifying New Sex Ed Standards Mean You Need to Get Your Kids Out of Public School Now

School used to be the place where you would send your children to get a proper education.

It was a place where they could learn basic sciences and critical thinking skills.

Today, however, public schools are nothing more than propaganda centers indoctrinating children into the latest far-left ideologies.

Nowhere has this been made more evident than in the sexual education standards currently being disseminated to schools nationwide.

Developed by a coalition of left-wing nonprofit groups, the second edition of the National Sex Education Standards aspires to teach school children about various ideas many parents would likely object to, according to The Federalist.

For instance, the standards require kindergarteners through second graders to learn about ideas related to transgenderism, including “gender” and “gender identity.”

Third graders are taught about “the role of hormone blockers” for transgender minors, an often irreversible procedure many consider tantamount to child abuse.

Starting in sixth grade — an age group of 11 and 12-year-olds — and by the end of eighth grade at age 13, students “should be able to” define oral, anal, and vaginal sex.

This age group is also required to learn about the withdrawal method as a form of contraception.

What is quite possibly the worst aspect of these standards is their promotion of killing unborn children.

Starting in sixth grade, students are taught about abortion — not as the horror it is, but rather as a standard option when faced with pregnancy.

Even worse, teachers are forced to provide information on local abortion clinics to students in ninth grade and up.

When it comes to standards on gender identity, the standards go as far as to subvert parental authority.

“No one else is qualified to label or judge another person’s sexual identity, including their sexual orientation or gender identity, and the adults in their lives must respect the language and terms young people use to identify themselves,” the standards state.

These ideas may soon be taught at a public school near you — that is, if they aren’t being taught there already.

The group’s previous standards — the National Sexuality Education Standards — were used by roughly 41.3 percent of school districts, according to a 2016 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

If a similar percentage of schools follows these new standards, it may be time to pull your child out of public school.

Notes from the Editor

As a parent having a child in school, I understand the issues public schools are going through. Not long ago, I marched into school and confronted a teacher over teaching my child that Columbus committed germ warfare on the natives. I confronted them and told the teacher this was nonsense; they had no concept of bacteria or viruses at that time of Columbus. They were casting out demons and bleeding people to cure them. When she told me if I thought I could teach it better, then maybe I should teach the class, I told her I would; at least this way, the children would learn something correct instead of propaganda. This did not work out well, I became the least favorite parent in that school, but this was not taught anymore.

I do not care if the FBI thinks I am a terrorist, I continue to go to school board meetings, I will confront them if I think they are teaching something that has no place in school, and as they have found out before, I will not be silenced when dealing with my child’s welfare.

Schools are not places to teach that parents should be ignored, that one’s sex can change on a whim; this is just nonsense. We, as parents, need to confront this. While I have no issue with basic biology, teaching basic sex ed, children in middle school have enough issues, forcing gender studies and this new concept of sexual identity, that should be left up to the parents to teach, not the schools; they need to stick to primary school education, not wokeism.
