Is it Time For Facebook’s Demise? Threatening to ban if We even Play audio of him shows This is a Valid Question.

Is it Time For Facebook’s Demise? Threatening to ban if We even Play audio of him shows This is a Valid Question.

I start this off by saying the demise of Facebook, their control over free speech is well past its due date. They say they champion free speech; their actions show they are doing the opposite.

In their latest move, Facebook removed a video of an interview with former President Trump conducted by his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, saying any content “in the voice of Donald Trump” would be scrubbed from the social media platform.

Facebook permanently banned the former president from their platform in January after the Capitol riot.

The funny thing is, we had all summer listened to BLM protestors saying they wanted to burn the system down, causing over $!.5 billion in deaths; over 25 people were killed in their riots. Yet, Facebook continues to support this violent domestic terrorist group, just like they do with Antifa. Yet the former president, who never told the people to riot, in fact, told them to conduct themselves peacefully, that does not matter, Facebook is still banning not only him but anything where his voice is heard.

On Tuesday, Lara Trump, a Fox News contributor, posted an image on Instagram of her sitting across from her father-in-law, urging followers to “Join us tonight!”

A group of Trump officials was sent an email from a Facebook employee, warning that any content posted on Facebook and Instagram “in the voice of President Trump is not currently allowed on our platforms (including new posts with President Trump speaking)” and warned that it “will be removed if posted, resulting in additional limitations on accounts that posted it.”

“This guidance applies to all campaign accounts and Pages, including Team Trump, other campaign messaging vehicles on our platforms, and former surrogates,” the email, posted on Instagram by Trump’s son, Eric Trump, stated.

The interview was eventually posted to Lara Trump’s Facebook page, but was later taken down.

“Hi folks,” a Facebook employee wrote in an email to her with the subject line “Content Removal.”

“We are reaching out to let you know that we removed content from Lara Trump’s Facebook Page that featured President Trump speaking,” the Facebook employee wrote. “In line with the block we placed on Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, further content posted in the voice of Donald Trump will be removed and result in additional limitations on the accounts.”

I think it is time we all in mass start to look at switching from this unpatriotic site, then start to swamp our legislators that all protections, such as section 230, be lifted, this way if FB, Twitter, or Google want to start de-platforming people, let them be open to financial repercussions.

I personally have found myself de-platformed for daring to say that I will not be told what pronouns I will use, nor will I ever agree to say that Antifa or BLM is anything less than a domestic terrorist group, this was unacceptable to Twitter, FB, and other social network sites, they kicked me off for daring to not conform to their moral agenda.

We in America and much of the world are at a three-point junction; either we follow one path or kiss our freedom of expression goodbye. One path leads to big tech dictating what to say, where our information comes from, and if we don’t comply, they will shut us down.

The other path is to create conservative platforms to compete with Twitter, Google, Facebook, and others. At the same time, this seems to be where we are headed; this will do nothing but further divide this nation, where each side gets their information from different sides with no contact between the two.

The third, and the most preferable is to force this nonsense to stop, if Big Tech wants to pursue this, then open them up for litigation, either they will change and stop this political partisan nonsense or face death by tens of thousands of cuts as lawsuits start to mount once Section 230 protection is lifted. For our congressional leaders, this requires one thing to stop being such cowards and stare down big tech.

Sadly I think one of the first two will be the most likely outcome because both parties are owned by big tech, the GOP refuses to fight for us. Maybe it is time to replace them as well.
