January 6 Commission Say Trump May Have Caused Riots, Sends Cause For Charges To Prosecutors

In a continuation by the Left, along with never Trumper’s, such as Cheney and Kinzinger, the January 6 commission has decided that Trump may have engaged in ‘Criminal Conspiracy,’ even though they can’t show any direct link to Trump. Still, they did find a conversation between Trump’s attorney and Pence’s.

“Evidence and information available to the Committee establishes a good-faith belief that Mr. Trump and others may have engaged in criminal and fraudulent acts,” the committee said in a court filing, Reuters reported.

“The Select Committee also has a good-faith basis for concluding that the President and members of his Campaign engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States,” the filing said.

The filing was submitted in federal court in Los Angeles as part of a legal fight with John Eastman, a lawyer representing Trump.

Eastman sued the January 6 panel to block a subpoena seeking emails in December.

The court filing included some emails from Eastman to Greg Jacob, a lawyer for Mike Pence, Politico reported.

“Thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege,” Pence’s lawyer Greg Jacob said in an email to Eastman.

“The ‘siege’ is because YOU and your boss did not do what was necessary to allow this to be aired in a public way so the American people can see for themselves what happened,” Eastman replied, according to emails obtained by the panel.

Politico reported:

Even after this exchange, Eastman made one final plea to convince Pence to stop the counting of electoral votes, acknowledging it would amount to a “relatively minor” violation of the federal law known as the Electoral Count Act.

“Plaintiff knew what he was proposing would violate the law, but he nonetheless urged the Vice President to take those actions,” the committee wrote in its filings.

Chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) and Vice Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said in a statement later Wednesday that their fact-finding strongly suggested that “Dr. Eastman’s emails may show that he helped Donald Trump advance a corrupt scheme to obstruct the counting of electoral college ballots and a conspiracy to impede the transfer of power.”

The problem with this claim is the committee does not show if this was done on Trump’s behalf or was a conversation between attorneys.

What we see is once more is the old ‘could be, should be, must be,’ moves by the crowd that hate Trump to do whatever they can to try to keep him from doing what they fear the most, to run again in 2024 against a much weakened Biden and the Democrats who are leaking public support to the point their ship is at the point of sinking.

Three impeachments attempts could not rid the Demented Left of Trump; now they are attempting to go the legal route, does not matter how weak their case is, if they can get before the right judge with the prosecutors set up by Biden and the Left, they think they have a chance of doing what they could not do before this.
