Maxine Waters Attacks Trump For Endangering All Our Children
California Rep. Maxine Waters tweeted Sunday that President Donald Trump is “a dangerous example for children” over his refusal to wear a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Yet if you watch the latest event, the one she is commenting on when he visited the Ford plant, the press claims he was not wearing a mask, he was when he visited the plant. Still, in the conference room afterward, when he was speaking to the reporters, he took off his mask, yet the press ignores this.
The reason for thThis is simple; it does not meet their expectations of what is needed to support their narrative.
“Not wearing a mask and not social distancing is dangerous. Do not follow his example. Protect yourself. Coronavirus kills!” she added.
Most people are doing this, but wearing a mask is not constitutional law, we do it for the sake of protection. She acts like Trump should hole up in the basement of the White House, meet with no one, and act like the one she supports, Joe Biden.
The long-serving congresswoman concluded her Memorial Day weekend message by describing the president as an “ignoramus.”
“Maybe this ignoramus doesn’t care, but you should care about yourself!” Waters wrote.
Trump has taken precautions, there is testing with him and all that are allowed into the White House, but like it or not, life goes on, we protect ourselves and move on, not hide in our homes in fear.
Speaking of ignorance, Waters then implied that Trump and others were controlling the nation’s stockpile of personal protective equipment needed by health care workers, then went on to accuse him of dismantling the U.S. Postal Service to prevent the Democrats’ vote-by-mail scheme.
“Trump owns AG Barr; Pompeo at State Dept; & Kushner at FEMA, controlling PPE. NOW he’s undermined the US Postal Service & installed a GOP fundraiser to run it,” she tweeted.
“Control of the USPS is control of vote by mail! HELL NO! We’re not going to let Trump get away w/ dismantling the USPS!”
While I am not a huge fan of what Trump is doing with the post office, I also understand why he is doing it. What is not stated is the monetary crunch the Postal Service has gone under due to the law passed that forced them to not only fund retirement funds for now but for all current employees, thus putting enormous financial stress on them.
Trump wants to see fair pay from companies like Amazon. He wants to see their cost to go up rather than have the American people bail out the Postal Service.
This is the same woman that loves to scream with the rest of the Left that we must listen to science, then screams about Trump being dishonest about taking the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine, which she described as deadly, and claimed without evidence that Trump is attempting to make money from the decades-old medication.
“Trump claims to be taking #Hydroxychloroquine, but why should we believe him when he lies all the time?” she wrote.
“Maybe it’s just a good marketing job to get others to take it so that he can profit from his investment. The latest info on #hydroxychloroquine is that it causes death, SOOOO??” the Democrat added.
But the Democrat-friendly newspaper The Washington Post has debunked a claim from Trump critics that his interest in the drug is financial.
“[T]he three trusts each hold between $1,001 and $15,000 in the Dodge & Cox fund. In other words, Trump’s stake in Sanofi from each trust is between $33 and $495 — or between about $100 and $1,500 in total,” The Post’s Philip Bump wrote.
Bump concluded that the Trump family trusts include dozens of similar small investments, and up to a dozen more substantial investments.
We see the continuation of Waters, who wants to scream racist at others while hanging out with the rabid antisemitism Farrakhan, yells corruption. At the same time, she has been rated as one of the most corrupt members of congress.
Waters like much of the left don’t care how much they lie and deceive, the better good (in their opinion), of ridding this nation of Trump supersedes any consideration for doing what is morally right.
