McConnell condemns the RNC for censuring Cheney and Kinzinger Gets Blasted By Trump

Mitch McConnel is showing his true colors, not only referring to the January 6th riot as a ‘violent insurrection,’ but also condemned the RNC for censuring Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger:

There were no guns; the peaceful protestors were fired on by the police, then responded. To act like this was an insurrection is laughable and shows how out of touch Mitch truly is. While I do not excuse the behavior of some actors that day, even the Justice Department has said this was not an insurrection, but good old Mitch is siding with the Democrats in trying to label it as such.

Also, when it comes to McConnell’s comment regarding Cheney and Kinzinger, I’m sure none of you are surprised. McConnell can be a good conservative when he wants to be, but we all know that much of the time, he’s a middle-of-the-road RINO type who fights conservatives harder than he does Democrats. So no, I’m not shocked that he condemned the RNC for their courageous actions drawing a line in the sand when it comes to Cheney and Kinzinger. That’s what I would expect from him.

Even so, I wouldn’t say I like it. I’m glad the RNC censured them because they are dishonest to blame Trump for the riot. It was clear to everyone with an ounce of common sense that he wasn’t responsible for it. For Cheney and Kinzinger to vote to impeach Trump because of it and then to join and legitimize a political hack committee created by Nancy Pelosi herself – well, it demanded something. McCarthy may be too weak to do anything about it, but at least the RNC answered with something. Good on them.

One has to wonder why we continue to see this man in a position of power. I have seen enough to question if he is even acting for the best of America; I think it is more a corrupt official who has hated Trump, is perfectly happy with joining the Rhinos he is so intent on defending.

We would do ourselves a service by primarying out people like McConnel; the damage he has done is every bit as bad as the Left has done, only he has done it while stabbing us in the back.

Trump did come back and blast McConnel, as he should have, this is what he posted:

Mitch McConnell does not speak for the Republican Party, and does not represent the views of the vast majority of its voters. He did nothing to fight for his constituents and stop the most fraudulent election in American history. And he does nothing to stop the lawless Biden Administration, the invasion of our Borders, rising Inflation, Unconstitutional mandates, the persecution of political opponents, fact finding on the incompentent Afghanistan withdrawal, the giving away our energy independence, etc., which is all because of the fraudulent election. Instead, he bails out the Radical Left and the RINOs.

If Mitch would have fought for the election, like the Democrats would have if in the same position, we would not be discussing any of the above today, and our Country would be STRONG and PROUD instead of weak and embarrassed.

Trump is right; it is increasingly evident that McConnel does not speak for the RNC. It is time to put someone in that does.
