NEW YORK WHO IS BLAMING TRUMP FOR LACK OF Respirators, SOLD MANY OF THEIRS IN 2016

As the virus continues to wreak havoc in New York City, De Blasio and Cuomo continue to blame Trump for lack of ventilators. We now found out in 2016; New York auctioned off their excess respirators due to the cost of maintaining for a time of need.

Fox News reported today that in 2016 New York, finding a need to save money auctioned off their older ventilators (maybe they needed money to pay for all the free medical care for Illegals and cover the tuition of other illegals).

ProPublica reported Monday that the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene issued a report in 2006 on the city’s preparedness for pandemic influenza — similar to the 1918 Spanish Flu or the 2019 novel coronavirus — that projected the city would need thousands of extra ventilators to treat all of its residents who got sick properly. The plan was then put into action, with the city initially buying 500 respirators before it ran out of money to buy more and to maintain the ones it had already stockpiled, according to ProPublica.

It turns out New York had tried to brace for something exactly like they are facing now, but the politicians found financing and maintaining this equipment was more then they were willing to pay.

One has to ask, how long are we supposed to feel bad for New York? People are dying, and this is terrible, but remember, these are the same people that time after time voted in politicians that ignored them, instead found their priorities anyone but them, now that they are sick and dying, we are supposed to bail them out? I thought we were deplorable; we were the ones that had no honor, why then are they looking elsewhere when they did this to themselves, and this was all after the SARS virus had struck.

We find out these people despise us, condemn us at every chance they get, in the end, we will make sure they have what they need, then when they are better, they will bite the very hand that feeds them, this is what Democrats do. I am at the point I am beginning to wonder, why would we send Democratic states that did not prepare, or sold out their inventory so they could fund progressive causes?

We used to have minor political differences, today the gap is so large, there are fundamental differences, ones that are not in any way compatible. We feel we live in the greatest nation in the world, progressives like AOC, Ilhan, and others, they want to destroy all we know, they think that America is worthless, should be destroyed and rebuilt.

When someone talks about putting us in camps, to reeducate what is wrong with us, how do you come to a compromise with them? When a charity group goes to New York, at considerable personal risk, to aid in caring for the sick, and the people in the city want to kick them out due to they are religious and hold beliefs differently than they do, how do you compromise with this?

Some may not agree with some progressives stance against traditional marriage, yet they have never said they have a right to change your thoughts to be acceptable to theirs, to each their own. If some do, they would be rejected by the whole.

WE did not like what Obama stood for. Still, he was our president, we did not march in the streets with phallus hats, screaming he was not our president, nor did we once dream of burning down the White House, attacking others for daring to support him, you had a right to your own beliefs and political persuasions, it is your life after all, yet the left is never willing to hand this back.

I know we will help, and it is right to do so, but how much longer does the other side feel we will tolerate this type of abuse and dismissal from them? They run to the rest of the nation and demand help when things go wrong, otherwise, look down their noses at the rest of the country and act like we are beneath them. All I can say is be careful; if you continue this, one day will not run to your rescue

My reply would be even though I agree with your view, those people are like us, some of those didn’t agree with what they do and would love to change the status quo, but when they don’t think in terms love thy neighbor, and believe in honor truth and freedom, this is what sin does to your life, I pray it will change, but politicians always put the blame some where else.
