Rioters Starting To Target Police With Gunfire

In an apparent escalation of the riots, we now have 4 cases where police were targeted by gunfire.

Police officers across the U.S. were targeted in shootings and vehicular attacks Monday night as protests continued in major cities for the seventh night despite President Trump’s vow to clamp down on violence.

On Monday night, the demonstrations marked a week of unrest since George Floyd died when a Minneapolis officer jammed his knee into the back of his neck. In a deceptive change of narrative, the marchers are protesting what they see as a demonstration against police brutality and what they claim is systemic racism. Still, soon they escalate from a peaceful protest to a riot where there are looting, violence, and vandalism in cities across the nation.

Police Chief John Hayden said they were hit by gunfire by “some coward” while standing on the side of a police line.

“As we speak we’re trying to get control out of this city, still hearing gunfire and everything,” he said. I don’t know what else to say. This is horrible. Thank God, they’re alive.”

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that all of the officers were conscious and breathing after being rushed to the hospital.

In another incident, a police officer was shot in the head at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. A source told 8News Now that the officer was in a fight with another suspect when someone walked up behind and shot the officer, who is now on life support.

It was one of two officer-involved shootings in the city; police said officers fired on a suspect at the Federal Courthouse in a separate incident. The suspect was hit several times.

Meanwhile, in Richmond, Va., two police officers and a suspect were injured after a shooting, according to NBC12.

In the Bronx, we have this disturbing video of rioters attacking a police officer:

This has gone on long enough. It is time for the police if shot at to rid their rubber bullet loads and start to put live ammunition in. These attackers seen above assaulting with an intent to do bodily harm in the Bronx, the officer there should have shot these fools, this has gone too far. Yet in places like New York where Mayors like de Blasio demonize the police, tie their hands, this is expected to continue as these thugs think they can by with this, shoot one or two, they will stop. If it gets worse, bring in the military, they will stop this in a hurry.

Running over police, you see the driver swerve to hit the police with their car; they should have been taken out with extreme prejudice. It is time we unite the police’s hands to stop this if we don’t, the cops are going to start holing up in their buildings, letting the riots escalate out of control.

The latest wave of protests came hours after President Trump vowed in a Rose Garden speech to restore law and order. Police under federal command forced back peaceful demonstrators with tear gas so he could walk to a church near the White House known as “The Church of the President” that was set on fire during Sunday night’s rioting.

This naturally was met with anger from a liberal activist Bishop:

It seems the Bishop forgot that Trump, like all others, has a right to walk on the sidewalk. Now, if an anti-Trump protester had been in the same spot, and was blaming Trump, I am sure this Bishop would have had no problem with this, I have no use or time for hypocrites like this, they befoul the name of Christianity.

It is time for this to end, I, for one, will support whatever measures our president takes to put an end to this tyranny by these masses. These rioters are domestic terrorists. It is time we deal with them as we do with other terrorists, either stop this or risk being put down.
