Romney, Why Didn’t Run Your Op-Ed when Trump Was Campaigning for you?

Romney, Why Didn’t Run Your Op-Ed when Trump Was Campaigning for you?

Turns out now we know why Romney was not elected as president, and we now see his true colors come out. In a typical Flake and other’s manner he has chosen after he has used Trump to secure his election to attack him, sadly we see now that he too is part of the deep state, hope he will be one and done as a US Senator.

This weekend Romney ran an Op-Ed where he attacked Trump as being the cause of chaos around the world, and has caused much unhappiness.

“The appointment of senior persons of lesser experience, the abandonment of allies who fight beside us, and the president’s thoughtless claim that America has long been a ‘sucker’ in world affairs all defined his presidency down,” he wrote.

He added that “Trump’s words and actions have caused dismay around the world.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Romney suggested that “on balance, (Trump’s) conduct over the past two years … is evidence that the president has not risen to the mantle of the office.”

One has to ask, what has Trump done? Forced NATO members to pay their fair share? Refused to give aid to the Palestinian Authority when they refused to stop using our aid money to pay their Martyrs fund to terrorist and their families? Or that Trump pulled us out of wasteful UN programs that were biased to their core and stopped all funding? Or maybe it was how he forced North Korea to the bargaining table, had a face to face meeting, something no other politician from either side of the Isle as ever been able to do?

We know that Romney is comfortable with the deep state, continuation of the things as they were, but seems he missed out the fact that we Americans aren’t, that is why Trump is president, and you, Romney, aren’t.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Romney excoriated Trump as a “fraud” who was “playing the American public for suckers.” Trump responded that Romney had “choked like a dog” in his unsuccessful 2012 campaign against Democratic President Barack Obama.

Despite Romney’s prior criticism, after Trump won the presidency in November 2016, he briefly considered tapping Romney as secretary of state.

In his essay on Tuesday, Romney said he “will speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions.”

Romney has strongly defended press freedom and challenged Trump’s repeated attacks on some news outlets as an “enemy of the people.”

He went on to claim that the media was our republic, no Mr. Romney, we the people are this republic, seems you have forgotten this, when the Media is trying to usurp the will of the people, then they are not part of the republic, they are the enemies of it.

Romney failed in his run for president, he is starting his tenor off as a failure as a Senator, one has to wonder, all these voters that Trump brought in for Romney, does he think they will vote for him again? Time for someone to rise up in Utah and show him what true patriotism looks like, we have had enough of these deep state GOP players.
