Stone Gets 40 Months, Another Travesty Of Justice
Rodger Stone, a long time friend, and ally of Trump is now facing 40 months in prison. This is not a just sentence; it’s a travesty that was handed out by an activist federal judge. The judge, in this case, is the same one that put Manafort, in solitary confinement, muzzled Stone to ensure he could not make a living, thus forcing him to lose his home and his livelihood while awaiting trial.
The judge in the trial, one that is starting to make me wonder if she should be removed by any means, Judge Amy Berman Jackson, showed her true colors as being an activist judge, used the sentencing to attack Trump, thus giving herself her five minutes of fame at Stone’s expense.
This sentence rose out of an investigation that was nothing but political, they brought in the most anti-Trump team the Democrats could find, had Mueller put his special prosecution in place, even with all of this they could not find one case of collusion with the Russians. Yet, the Democrats are insisting this narrative carries forward.
As we have seen with the multiple players who were set against Trump, Comey, Brennon, and Clapper, if you are set against Trump, you lie to Congress you not only walk free, you are hired into lucrative jobs and are placed on a pedestal by the deep state, but be guilty of friendship or support of Trump you end up in prison for a lesser crime.
Trump was quick to call this hypocrisy out, blasted the system and the left in a tweet saying, “They say Roger Stone lied to Congress. @CNN OH, I see, but so did Comey (and he also leaked classified information, for which almost everyone, other than Crooked Hillary Clinton, goes to jail for a long time), and so did Andy McCabe, who also lied to the FBI! FAIRNESS?”
Trump has a right to be outraged, the two systems of justice on display here is making a joke of the whole legal system, people like Judge Amy Berman Jackson is all too happy to pervert justice to get her pound of flesh for someone daring to support Trump. Today it was Stone; one has to wonder, who will it be next?
Trump then signaled he was not planning an immediate pardon of Stone, since the president believes he will be vindicated on appeal.
“I want to let the process play out,” Trump said.
I do agree with Trump, his desire to wait for Stone to have a separate trial in a different venue due to the activist anti-trump juror. Still, if Stone is not able to get a reduction in his sentence, then it is time for President Trump to step up and rectify this injustice now.
