What We Know, What We Don’t Know

I am watching both sides of the political spectrum on one site we hear talks of treasonous activities, the other site is saying there is no connection, but what is it we have seen and not seen? With all this talk i don’t know about you, but I want to know what is going on, so at this point what do we known and what don’t we know?

First, as with all else, I will not run hypothetical as news, present it as much, that is not honest reporting, it is trying to falsely push off sensationalism as news.

At this point we found out that one person, George Papadopoulos, he pleaded out to lying about a meeting with trying to set up a meeting where a associate of Putin wanted to set up a meeting with Trump. We know this never happened, looks like this was also tried with at least two more people. This by no means shows guilt on the parties side, but what you have are the Russians wanted to see if they could get a foot in the door, more likely then not would have approached multiple parties, seen of any of them would aid them in giving them access, at this point looks like none did. I need to explain, this is how foreign operatives work, it is not that a crime was committed, but you have people that would have surrounded both campaigns, the simple fact is while Clinton’s would have dealt with such a thing, after all her husband was president for eight years, the Trump campaign would not have. As a rule if this happens, you report this contact, the FBI takes it over, out of sight out of mind, where the problem with Papadopoulos came in is he did not report it, then when questioned lied about it. I must warn, there is no smoking gun exposed at this point, you hear all the talk but there is no factual evidence one way or the other.

The other thing that happened today was the Maniford warrant, he as I write is in court waiting for a disposition on his release, that we may know by tonight. In this you hear much, but the proof is very little. We see that from 2006 and up to 2016, could even include some of that time when Maniford was working for Trump he was also representing the Ukrainians, who’s president had very close ties to Putin. From 2006 until 2016 he had hidden over $40 million, hidden it in offshore accounts, this is what the charge is for, that in addition to working representing foreign nations and not reporting it. The Conspiracy charges as a rule will never stick, as usual a prosecutor will throw all they can in opening charges, it first is made to force the defendant to cooperate, they also add them because if more information comes up later, they can then add them rather then have to recharge.

So what do we have? We have one man that worked for Trump for three months, there is at this point zero proof that he in any way carried on these activities while working with Trump, in fact there is no proof that this was even going on at this time. We also have Papadopoulos, who offered to meet with a person who had contact with the Russians, there is at this point no proof that anything every happened, what he is charged with is having contact, not reporting it, then when questioned lying about it.

What is most interesting is the outrage by the press over this, but they ignore, refuse to report or cover the fact that Clinton and the DNC paid. As usual hypocrisy, conjecture and speculation rule the day.
