Where Are The Spies That Lied? The Ones That Said Hunter’s Laptop Story Was Russian Disinformation?

During the 2020 campaign for president, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, New York Times brought out ex-intel experts and leaders and put them in front of the camera where they droned on how there was nothing to the Hunter Laptop scandal; this was a big nothing burger. Still, now that we find out otherwise, all these so-called experts have gone into hiding. Why is that?

We are not the only ones questioning this, so is the New York Post; they are doggedly not letting this go, and good for them. Their editorial board has a few things to say about its competitors in the media markets, especially the New York Times, which took seventeen months to “authenticate” what the Post had already authenticated. Repeatedly, while media outlets either yawned or lied about it, the editorial board argues:

Forgive the profanity, but you have got to be s–tting us.

First, the New York Times decides more than a year later that Hunter Biden’s business woes are worthy of a story. Then, deep in the piece, in passing, it notes that Hunter’s laptop is legitimate.

“People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity,” the Times writes. “Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”

Authenticated!!! You don’t say. You mean, when a newspaper actually does reporting on a topic and doesn’t just try to whitewash coverage for Joe Biden, it discovers it’s actually true? …

Why was it unsubstantiated? Because of willful ignorance and the Times’ curious lack of curiosity. Hunter’s business partner Tony Bobulinski came forward immediately after The Post’s reports and confirmed that the emails bearing his name were legitimate. The Bidens didn’t even deny it was true! They just deflected, with the media’s help, saying it was a dirty trick or not a story. Mostly, the press just ignored it.

It is mighty interesting, the NY Times, who told all of us that this was a lie, there was nothing to the Hunter laptop story, now want us to forget this, forgive this bit of fake news by them, and accept that they are now on top of the story.

Reality has nothing to do with this narrative; NY Times and these so-called Intel experts knew that this was Hunter’s laptop at the time, but the need to replace Trump was greater than the need to tell the truth, so they lied their as*’s off.

The New York Post found this so interesting that they tried to contact the intel people who signed on to this letter. It turns out all, but one refused to comment on their claims, most likely hiding in shame, but Clapper, in a move that should surprise no one, doubled down:

“Yes, I stand by the statement made AT THE TIME, and would call attention to its 5th paragraph. I think sounding such a cautionary note AT THE TIME was appropriate.”

Others, like Emile Nakhleh, Don Hepburn, Andy Liepman, tried to say this is politicized, so they did not want to speak further on it. One must wonder, “They had no problem politicizing this during the campaign; why the change of heart now?”

They knew they were lying at the time, but the damage was seen as being done, so who cares any longer. These people need to be brought up on charges for slander or lying to the public; see to it, none of them ever serve again in any capacity in the government.

It is of little surprise that the press, who were so instrumental in all of this, hired Clapper as an expert commentator; universities or liberal think tanks hired others. It shows that if you turn over the people’s will, lie your heads off, you will be rewarded in the short term by the left. I can’t say yet what the long-term will be.
