With Declassification Of Obama Officials With Flynn Affair, The House of Cards Is Coming Down
As I wrote last week, with the release of Flynn from charges, we would start to see a flurry of moves from this administration against Obama and Obama officials.
The first shot has been fired, declassifying Obama administration officials involved is a first step in what will be a series of measures to bring shame and prosecution to the Obama administration, the very one that loves to remind us daily how there were no scandals while he was in office.
Democrats are now screaming that this is a politically motivated witch hunt, thus trying to make this seem as if it is all political, former Obama officials are being set up, rather then exposed for the illegal acts they took part in.
Sites like ABC News is now trying to claim that unmasking had gone on as fiction, there is no truth in it, even though in the next paragraph they say that Rice said she had unmasked Trump officials before leaving office.
Grenell, who remains the U.S. ambassador to Germany along with being the acting DNI, visited the Justice Department last week and brought the list with him, according to the official.
His visit indicates his focus on an issue previously highlighted in 2017 by skeptics of the investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia, specifically allegations that former officials improperly unveiled Flynn’s identity from intercepts of his call with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
We are now seeing moves by the administration to lay open the acts of the prior administration; this will be the beginning of many other exposures that are going to be continuing of how the Obama administration acted outside the rule of law, felt that the end justified the violation of the letter of the law.
In 2017, former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice reportedly told the House Intelligence Committee she “unmasked” several Trump associates to find out why United Arab Emirates’ crown prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, visited New York without notifying the Obama administration.
Samantha Power, Obama-era U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), is also believed to have made up to 260 requests to “unmask” U.S. citizens tied into surveillance of non-U.S. citizens, according to Fox News. She reportedly requested information seen in the days leading up to Trump’s inauguration. Then-Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) later revealed Power testified that a portion of the “unmasking” requests made in her name were made by others.
While the Trump administration was not able to make strategic decisions until Trump took office, every administration, even Obama’s, had set up meetings before the swearing-in so they could jump into the diplomacy game without having to have a period to catch up.
What is impressive is how threatened the Obama administration was over what they had done just eight years prior.
The case with General Flynn was much more profound than being concerned about foreign relations. This was personal with Obama. This is also why he falls under suspicion on all that had happened; it could not have been done without his permission.
Rice, we know, was very much involved, she went on public TV and spoke about the issue she had with Flynn when he said his concern was not with Russia, they were a declining power. Instead, it was with China, who was rapidly rising to near-peer status.
What we had, as seen above, Rice, who famously would lie or do anything she was told to toe the Obama line, turned on Flynn for daring to say that he thought our most significant threat was China, not Russia. For daring to say this, she at this point mentioned he must be a Russian Spy, then set about unmasking him and his conversations with Russians to try to prove that he was what she thought he was, thus violating his constitutional rights for the sake of vindicating the president at that time.
We are going to find the rolling up of the Flynn investigation is going to open the door for further Justice Department arrests and convictions. This is why they assembled a grand jury to be able to draw up charges.
Furthermore, because of the scope and depth of the John Durham investigation has grown so much, he can’t handle splitting up his time to investigate the set up to frame Flynn, this is why they assigned another, Grenell, to work for his office, and answer to him, but to conduct this part of the last administration’s hand in all of this, thus he can, in the end, use this with his other data to bring charges in the future.
I guess we should not be surprised by this. In closing, I leave what Susan Rice went out and said to the American public, something she openly admitted under oath was an outright lie.
